Orange Broadband

Has anyone used this service? They reckon it's 24 per month but you don't pay for a BT line and you have free broadband and free telephone calls evenings and weekends. Should I go or should I stay? I currently have virgin and I pay 15 per month for free internet access (not broadband but I live in the sticks anyway and the service is very slow) and I get 15 free phone calls per month. I still have to pay for the BT line though. I'm not an Orange fan and I'm cautious and would appreciate any advice.

It was constantly crashing, very slow and getting through to the customer service was am complete nightmare.
I am now with Talk Talk and have a package that sounds very similar to the one you described from Orange, and I must say I cant fault them at all.
Hope that helps you!

Try and get Virgin Media for 10 pounds a month as I have been with them paying this for 2 years now. Whenever your contract is ending with them and they try to charge you over that just tell them that you are leaving and they'll come back to you and offer to leave it at a tenner permanently.
Otherwise plusnet.com do broadband for a tenner a month without a contract too!

I changed to Orange about 6 months ago, and as niki2002 says, their customer support is pants to say the least. Their phone deal on the plan I have only works via the WiFi Livebox and uses VOIP not my BT line, so quality is poor. If I had the choice I would go for the Tiscali package which now includes BT line rental
