fan assisted oven

we have just bought a new fan assisted oven after switching the oven off the fan keeps running for a couple of mins should it do this

yes it cools oven down to .by th way when your cleaning it dont spray near the fan,it knackers it .happy cooking

It helps to cool the oven down. I normally leave the door open when im finished it seems to cool down quicker and it heats the room up a bit to as a bonus.
