Outside Light.

I have an auto sensor light outside.I had to turn off power at mains to work on kitchen light.After turning on power the outside light stays on all the time.I can remember seeing the answer what to do in case of power cut but cant find the instruction book.Can any body help.

mine does this:
the light circuit has a switch inside the house.
turn off & then on again within 5 secs and it stays on until tunred off.
turn off, wait 5 secs, turn on and it comes on but then goes automatic, turning off after the pre-set hold time (in my case about 10 mins)

lights are B&Q standard external with integral PIR's, bout 8yrs old
