Until recently I watched my TV via my pc on Windows Media Center - which worked perfectly after I had tuned in using the Wizard option. Then, for no reason at all (that I can remember) it no longer picks up the cable signal (although I know this is still working as I now use my old analogue TV to watch the box). I have tried, and tried to re-tune - but to no avail. Does anyone have any tips? I also bought a Freeview system - then found that the PC has no Scart cable socket - so no chance of getting that to work either. Please help!

Can't really do tech stuff, but you can buy digital recievers which plug into the PC via USB.

thanks for the tip!
Does your freeview box have an RF output which you can plug into your PC card? If that doesn't help with your current problem then perhaps an upgrade to a digital PCI card or USB box is in order. I use a Nebula card and it works well.

Cheers

thanks - but that's far too technical for me! I found a way round it in the end. I bought a TVStick (USB) with software for about 33 and now instead of using the Media Center to pick up the TV - I use this wondeful piece of software! simply fab and I can still use my Media Centre remote (bizarre ..!).
