Just moved into new house and I cant figure out how the central heating timer works.
It is a wall mounted Ariston boiler in kitchen, dont know how old it is, the timer looks like a 24hr clock, and I dont know how to set the dial, which way I set the buttons to have the heating on when I get up,
Can anybody help a COLD damsel in distress please.
Thanks.

I used to wire boilers and time clocks all the time, but there are so many about and so many old ones still about and they all vary.
Could you perhaps take a picture of it and put it on photobucket and then post a link to the photo on here.

I might be able to to reconise it and then do my knight in shining armour bit then.
I have a feeling though it could be an old sangamo time clock.

Does it just control the heating and is it round and have a red override button on the side of it.
is it a digital clock or is it the one with loads of little pegs around the edge that you have to push in or out?
