Injury at work
1 Answers
I had an injury at work (nhs hospital) and was off work for a few days. Can I put in a claim to the hospital (it was clearly a case of negligence on the hospital's part)? If so, can I go about this without contacting a claims solicitor?

What do you hope to achieve by this claim? Hopefully they will have noted how your accident happened and put steps in place to ensure that this sort of thing cannot happen again. What are you after? Some money for yourself? Were you left out of pocket after the accident? If so (by not being paid for example) then I could understand, but if it's just to get a bit of money you have to think where that money is ultimately coming from. It has to come from somewhere, and in this case it would be the tax payers (quite often it's just everyones insurance payments go up).
