I want to send a small pakage so I go onto the postoffice website to see how much it will cost me and well its like I get sent straight to another site (parcelforce) and the only option is delivery in 2 day 15 � whaaaat ? what happened to the post office send parcels at a reasonable price or is that considered normal mail ? I'm confused, must be something to do with being missing from the copuntry for 14 years

ok very obviously Parcels are now under ordinary mail and the other parcels well I don't know ..... guess I'll just wrap it up and take it to the post office and let them handle it
You don't need to use parcel force - send it by standard parcels

Takes around 3 - 5 days but is good value.
I assist in a postal survey, posting on letters and Parcels etc. The parcel I have to post on tomorrow is classed as "small" (about 18" x "5 x 5") and will cost �4.95) The cost varies dependant on the size and weight and In my experiance with the survey most are delivered within two days. Your best bet is to actually take it to a post office and have a word with the counter staff. The cost you were quoted is about what I would expect to pay for a "large" parcel

yea I'll just show it and let him decided whats best it does have to go from northamptonshire to plymouth and I'd prefer it to get there on the 13 th
