simply this type of behavoiur has to be managed rather than prevented. Using Crisis Anger, Limitation and Management is a system whereby the subject? will be risk assessed, and an appropreate plan of care incorporating CALM tecniques are used to help manage the situation.

Principles of equality, diversity ans the rest lie in legislation issued by the goverment, local councils and the care commission.statutory and voluntary agencies all have working principle and core values. care standards (equality, diversity etc)
these provide the basis from which care staff should work from. therefore promoting
anti discriminatory practice is promoting someones rights, legislation demands everyone is entitled to access to goods and services.
