Why do my recordings play in lurid bright unreal colours? Do I have to adjust some settings somewhere in my computer?

took advice on this and the solution was to update to media player 11 through the microsoft site.

The player had been working fine before the motherboard had to be replaced in my computer but the above advice solved the problem.

If this hadn't worked the advice was to install a later version of Quick Time through the Apple website by downloading itunes free or to update Quick Time/Flash Player to a later version through the Adobe website.
