the colour on y tv has just started going funny from the top and bottom it has developed and green and red bow that makes veiwing quite annoying any ideas?????

If it is a tube type tv, not lcd or plasma, have you recently put some loudspeakers near it? they can distort a tv due to their magnetism. I even had a video player that had this effect.
