Multiply that by 6 hours a day and then by 7 days a week, works out at a total of 75.60. With 9 rads in a 4 bedroom house, I would suspect that the heater is working hard to heat the house (is on more than 80% of the time). Some of these boilers have indication (light on) when they are heating.
Add to the above figure, your other electricity usage (cooking, baths, lighting etc) and you are probably look at a bill not far short of 100 a week.
Electric heating is expensive, as you have discovered my understanding is that these heaters are normally used as a back-up for gas heating, where guaranteed hot water is required.
The price for gas heating is around 4p/kWh. I would strongly recommend you considered adding gas heating, leaving your electric heaters for emergency only.

Before you invest in a combi-boiler to reduce your energy costs it would be worth posting further questions, asking for advice on the rating of boiler you will require and the likely cost of install.
From my limited knowledge of combi boilers, you would be looking at a typical cost (including stall) of 1,500+. Another thing to consider in such an investment is that if you are planning to move house before next winter, then dont bother. But based on the prices you are currently paying, I would expect you to recoup your capital outlay within 2 years.
Also check out likely costs of running a combi-boiler for your house. If you install one based on my recommendation and it costs you 200 a week you can't sue me.
One final point, although your electric heater is very expensive to run it is likely to be much more reliable than a combi-boiler. Combi-boiler repairs can easily run into hundreds of pounds, which needs to be factored into your total energy costs.

As Hymie states, Electric Boilers are good investments for properties where access to a natural gas supply is restricted or completely unavailable.
Sounds as though at your electricity rate that it may be worth considering moving to a gas combi boiler if this is an option open to you, although costs of installation & future maintenance need to be taken into account (something you don't need to worry about as much with an electrical device like the Trianco Aztec). I've heard good things about the Triancos though, as they are high efficiency (above 99% I think....may be wrong!) but sounds like with the amount you want to use it for heating it may be a more expensive option. At least there are plenty of combi boilers out there that offer good results too! Media URL: http://youtu.be/GytSN_hYm6A
