Standard unleaded is 95 RON octane rating and super unleaded is 98 RON, Four Star is now very very hard to obtain and LRP (lead replacement petrol) is getting equally the same way.

Hope this helps.

I've seen unleaded at 95 octane, and super unleaded at 97 octane
Super unleaded is 97 RON. There was a time when it was 98 and this is often still dipslayed on some older petrol pumps. Push hard and the garage will concede that it is actually 97 RON, in my opinion an issue for trading standards, but then I need super unleaded for my car so it means a lot to me. Shell's new Optimax petrol is reportedly 98 point something RON, but they don't actually specifiy this at the pump for some reason.
