Good evening DarkMajes71c
Be very wary! I'm sixty-eight and I have suffered the, "Hey JIm, you'll make a great Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Editor, Facilitator, etc, for our committee / club."
You go to a meeting and are quickly 'railroaded' into a job no one else in the committee / club will touch with a fifty foot pole.
Then you try your best to make a go of the job, only to find that the reason no previous person in that role ever succeeded was, the couldn't get members to discuss the situation rationally, let alone be willing to compromise a little in order to make a start at fixing the problem. And some of the disputes are extremely bitter, with you in the middle.
After a few months you will probably just throw up your hands and stop trying.
However, maybe your situation is different. I sincerely hope so............The Best of British Luck and May the Force Be with You!
Let me know how it all turns out
