my daughter has a property with her estranged husband. she is paying an inerest only mortgage on her own there is �100,000 outstanding on the mortgage can she have his name removed from the mortgage

She would probably have to buy him out or remortgage solely in her own name - they wouldn't just take his name off unless they knew she could afford to pay it on her own. Because they are both jointly and solely responsible at the mo, they have 2 people to look to for payment if one doesn't pay.
