Phone Pics to Laptop?
5 Answers
I bought a Samsung phone and have taken some pics on it. How do I get them onto my laptop? I heard that I have to buy a memory card? What kind of card? Is there more than one kind with different size openings to fit on the phone? And then how do I get the photos from that to my laptop? I just don't know where to start and what hardware to get. Any advice gratefully received.

In there it should explain how to transfer photos from your phone to computer.
If it is not explained in the booklet see if you got a CD with the phone and maybe there will be a book on there which gives more details of how to use the phone.
There may also be some software on the CD which will help you transfer things from phone to PC.

No CD with it, it is bluetooth capable, but I'm not hooked up to any of that stuff - just regular phone service. It has an absolutely tiny little slot on each side one of which I use to plug the charger in. Combing the book, but they're written like you already know what you're doing - it is a Samsung E250 Slide.
Bluetooth is nothing to do with the phone service.
If your laptop has bluetooth, it will hook up with the phone without wires and transfer files and photos.
If your laptop doesn't have bluetooth, and you don't want to buy a bluetooth adapter, you need this:
