i topped up ma phone yesterday, and a few weeks bak i subscribed 2 a FREE ringtone, i only sent a few texts and my cred has gone down from a fiver 2 46p, i also sent a text 2 my friend in portugal...

do u think the ringtone company are charging me even though it said free, or is it because of the distance text??

im freakin out, i dnt want a company to keep charging me....

I think you pay a lot to send a text abroad, particularly on pay as you go.

My pay as you go phone is 20p per text for sending a text to Portugal.

change your sim card I did. I did same as you but on getting free ringtone it subscribes you to paying a fee every month I found it difficult to stop so changed my sim card. Texts same price to send abroad only dearer if sent from abroad to UK. get onto who you got ring tone from and ask them to stop.
