NTL Answerphone help needed!

On the automatic answerphone for NTL lines, the recorded voice asks you to press the # key when you've left your message. Does anyone know whether a message still records if the caller doesn't press hash and just hangs up? Thank you!

Well, I just tested it on my phone and left myself a message without pressing hash and yes it did record my message :o)
