Red eye in photos

I know what this is but want to know if it's normal to have red eye in just one eye. Have taken a pic of someone and this was the result. I have only seen this before in photos of my son who has a permanent eye injury.

So, is the one red eye anything to worry about ?

ive seen the same thing many times and its probably just down to the angle the person was standing at so the light from the flash didn't reflect back off the retina in the one eye but it did the other
