T-Mobile Flext 35 plan. How on earth does it work?!
2 Answers
My Mum signed up for the Flext 35 plan on T-Mobile last year, in July 2007.
She signed up for 18 months and has recently told me even though they offered her 180 to use each month, whenever her bill comes it often says "125 unused". Which she doesn't understand (and neither do I frankly!) because she uses her phone like nobodies business! It also ends up charging her MUCH more than 35 - often going up to 50 something, that'd be including the 35 line rental charge btw.
She doesn't make international calls and seldom texts, but makes a lot of calls to other mobile phones and her work colleagues, family and friends but usually landlines, and calls nationally all around England etc.
Can anybody help us understand how exactly this flippin plan works! lol
thanks all.

I found this TMobile site here:

Click on "View plan details" next to Flext 35 and it explains it.

Basically it seems they charge 20p a minute for each call, 10p a message for each text, and 20p a message for each picture.
And you are allowed up to 200 a month of the above, in any combination.
So if you only spend 75 then that is why it says "125 unused".
But some features are NOT included in the 200 so if you use them you pay EXTRA over the 35, which is why she may pay 50 some months.
Voicemail is 12p, and numbers like 0800, 0500, and 0808 can all cost up to 10p a minute. Note that any other 08 number she rings is 2.50 a minute.
All those above will be charged ON TOP of her 35.
If she is still does not understand then just ring TMobile and ask them to explain.
