Theres no power going to it ?

Check the fuse first.

There is a definite click when the radio is switched on and that fuse is also used for the cigarette lighter which is working. The radio controls are also on the steering column, I think they must be the "satellite controls" referred to in the manual but because we can't see anything we can't tell what number is on the display when we turn the wheel on the steering column controls. Do you think this control could be the problem?
Sounds like a damaged LCD display.

Have you tried typing the code into the blank screen ?.

Question Author
We've tried tapping in the number through the radio buttons and it does beep as you press the buttons but doesn't seem to tune into anything. We've turned the dial on the satellite stick as well, guessing the number but still nothing. Can we just change the LCD display or do we have to change the whole thing?
Most things acn be stripped and fitted with new parts, but I don't know about LCD's.

Might be worth just buying a cheapy from HALFORDS and fitting that in instead ?
