slowly over few weeks had nearly every poart renewed but firm said couldnt find anything so was probably slow leak in pipes dont know what else they could do!

Well they could get the floor boards up and find it as if you have a leak then you'll get a stain on your ceiling below....

almost certainly a slow leak somewhere, possibly small enough that you will never notice any damp patches that will lead you to it.
you could get a firm in to trace it but it could take all day and at 40 to 90 quid an hr could be a very expensive and fruitless exercise

ta we were told that it wold be hard to find the leak, no wet patches on ceiling and only 1 slight drip from radiator probably just have to keep repressurising until it gets worse!

I have the same problem but the guy couldnt find the leak. I am aware that I have to keep an eye on the pressure and crank it up a bit every so often. Not ideal but it will do unless the leak gets really bad.

......over a few weeks, one slight drip on a rad will cause this.............................fix the drip first :o)))

could be a slight leak anywhere, BUT has anyone checked that your blow off valve is not passing slightly.
A good way to check this is to put a bag or kiddies baloon over the end of the blow off pipe for a day or so and if any water is in it after this you have a faulty blow off valve
