registering on e-bay

i want to register to sell items on e-bay. i do not want to use pay pal. can i register without giving my credit card details as i would want buyer to collect goods and pay cash. is this possible.???

for protection I would always use paypal, cash isnt a good option to be honest.

You will also find that some people dont like to use cash anyway.

You have to offer it regardless so you have no choise in the matter.

Personally I don't trust paypal/ebay (owned by the same company) as the stories I have heard about pp holding large sums of peoples money and in some cases refusing to give it back doesn't help me trust them. Also the amount of buyers claiming back their money for no real reason is too many in my mind

I have been buying and selling on Ebay for over 4 years, no problems ever. Paypal is great and safe. If you try to stick to selling and wanting buyer to collect, you won`t sell much. If someone near to you does buy, then they can collect but if you make that a proviso, you limit your sales a lot. Good Luck anyway Future Ebayer.
