Please bear with me on this one as me and my hubby are not very savvy with the latest electronics.

We have been given an hi fi system with a mp3 player and no instructions.

My question is, how do we play this mp3, I say is it via a usb stick and hubby is saying it has to be connected to the computer.

It's a sony, I cannot remember the number, but I will look.

I did look once, but was not very clear. When I get home I will look at the number and google it.
If I remember rightly there is no software with it.

I may have to return to this question as it all washes over my head.

Thanks for your replies, guys, seems like both hubby and I was right!!!!
Looking at the sony site, I can't find any hifi systems that link to a computer via USB, but many will take an mp3 player or memory stick. Some will only accept other sony devices.
Your Hi Fi (as you put it) does not have to be connected to a computer. The idea is ludicrus. You are right not your hubby.
