Canon MPC190 - Won't print in Black ink

Anyone help with a Canon MPC190 that won't print in Black.
I tried cleaning with acetone. Didn't work.

Any bright ideas??

Acetone is a bit severe. It disolves many plastics. Might have made it Normally you try to wash the print heads in water, then if that fails, methylated spirits.

I had a Canon inkjet printer which worked well for several years.

I found I could blow into the vent of the ink reservoir and this helped clear jets very effectively. Then I would blot on a tissue and you could see by the pattern which nizzles were still blocked. Then I would cover the clean jets with my finger and blow to clear the rest.
you may be able to get a replacement printhead if the unit is u/s
