i have a youtube account but noone looks at my vidios what could i do to attract more people to view it thanks

If you use facebook, myspace or owt like that you could put a link up to your youtube page on your profile. If you go on forums you could put a link in your signature. If you use MSN you could put a link in your status message. Or you could put a link up here and probably tons of folks would have a nosey :)

if they dont look interesting and/or dont sound interesting from the description then people wont look

movie pics:
You can go into 'edit' your movie and select a different screen shot for your movie it gives you I choice of three shots, it does help to have a good picture.

Tags:
Add weird and interesting tags to you movie, I only ad relevant tags to be honest but I add lots of variants etc, but some people add loats of false tags to draw people in when they search. So you think of popular search words maybe famous peoples names or like sexy words, terms or people and bobs your uncle lots of hits lol

Group:
You can join groups on youtube for interests so for example I was asked to join 'pet club/group ' because my vid are of furry cute pets you see if you like cars join a car club of maybe another youtuber will invite you.

Chat:
Comment on other peoples vids you like rate them and make friend suscribe to their channel and hopefully they will yours, other people visiting their site see's you are friends and then checks your site/page out.
