Is it possible to receive medication by post from abroad? specifically a EU country.

You can receive it from any country in the world !
Be aware though, much of the stuff touted on the web is fake.

I get emails every day offering me viagra and all sorts of other medicine from abroad.

You have no way of knowing if this is the genuine stuff, or just "fake" stuff made to look like the real thing but it is just asprin.

And dont think it is not worth them doing it, making fake goods is big business, often with crimnal backing, so dont be tempted into giving more money to these criminals.

oh dear you have assumed that I am after dodgy medication on the net. You are wrong. I am not planning to purchase anything on the internet, this is a genuine enquiry for my girlfriend's family to send out her medication.
Royal Mail won't carry them:

Drugs Drugs used for professional, medical or scientific purposes may only be sent in an emergency from a medical practitioner to a hospital.
