packing liquids to send by post

I need to send some bottles by post of cosmetics; shower gel etc I've never sent liquids by post before and am wondering if it will be ok to send them individually inside an envelope, or do I need to pack them otherwise? Maybe additional bubblewrap inside envelope will be sufficient?

Personally I'd pack them with bubble wrap inside a cardboard box. If you pack them in an envelope, even with bubble wrap there is a chance that the bottles will get damaged and leak everywhere.
