I haven't got room for a large dishwasher.Have been looking at the table top one in the Argos book. page 608 Does this work off the taps from sink or has it got to be plumbed in .It says cold water fill so would that mean just one hose fitted to cold water tap.Would appreciate any replies from anyone that has one Thanks

i never had room for a large dishwasher either so......................i just married a small woman!
I'm no expert but I'd say it connects to the cold water pipe that leads to your tap. I believe it's quite straight forward but obviously I've never done it!
yes cold fill only means it only needs one pipe from the cold tap, and I suspect that it needs to be plumbed in, your easiest option would be to use the existing washing machine tap that you will have (probably under the sink) and get a Y connector for that so you can attach two pipes to it.
how bout some washing up liquid and some hot water? better for environment and cheaper, u lazy git!!!!

Thank you ChuckFickens for your helpful reply .Have just realised I wont be able to fit it beside sink due to cupboards but I can move the dryer out and sit a larger model next to washing machine and get one of those connectors you have just shown.
and Velvet Lady if you have not got any helpful replies would you mind keeping your comments to yourself.

Much better for the Environment :)
HEY CHUCKFICKENS i used to play music on one of those!
do you have room for a 450wide dishwasher?

I could not live without my dishwasher and if that's what you want then why not ?
It's a fallacy that they are bad for the environment .
Scientists at the University of Bonn in Germany who studied the issue found that the dishwasher uses only half the energy, one-sixth of the water, and less soap than hand-washing an identical set of dirty dishes. Even the most sparing and careful washers could not beat the modern dishwasher. The study also found that dishwashers excelled in cleanliness over hand washing.
There is a very narrow one you can buy .My brother has one .
I think it's a Bosch .Look them up on Google

Go ahead and get one : The time saved standing over a sink night after night especially if you are working is worth more to me than worrying over the environment .
I wish we had had one years ago when we were both out slogging all day .
A dishwasher is one of lifes little luxuries .
I would sacrifice a cupboard and have a small dishwasher!
I have only had one for about 10 years and when we bought it, I said to my hubby "Let's get a cheap one - we might not use it much"
HA! I cannot imagine life without it now!
Could you put the dryer somewhere else?
