I have a new 80GB playstation 3 ( just done system update to v 2.52) but I bought Ratchett and clank to play, put this in the machine and it says I need 419kb of free space on the hard drive to upload data relating to the game, i don't understand this as there is nothing on the hard drive only my partners boxing game. I've gone into system setting and it says there is 74GB of free space on the hard drive. does anyone know why the game is saying I need 419KB of Hard drive space and does anyone know how to solve this. Ta in advance

Is there any kind of reset you can do on the hard drive i.e. formatting it before you use it....

Hi thanks for your answer, I have found the solution, so for anyone who has this game on playstation 3 here goes: apparently there was a software glitch with this game so when you had a certain amount of data saved on your hard drive the message" you require 419MB of free HDD to load this game "would show even though you really did have enough space to load it anyway, what you need to do to solve this problem is add or delete 500MB data to/from your hard drive........it solved my problem, I can now play the game.
