Why can a negro say he is proud to be black but a white man can't say he is proud to be white without been considered racist?

im proud to be white.why is that racist ? im also proud to be british. every man,woman and child should be proud of who they are be they black,white,red or yellow

Actually, I've been somewhat proud of several things and very proud of others in life, but being a certain skin color has never been one of them. I just hadn't given it any thought. 99% of things I'm proud of (children, work accomplishment, etc.) have little to do with "being" something...

Who told you this Danlad that if a white person says "He is proud to be white"then that's being racist?.Plus what difference is it if a white man or white woman says this?.
