Can anyone please suggest a way of removing a thin layer of ground-in chewing gum from my son's blazer? I put it in the freezer and then scraped off as much as I could, but there's still a hardened white patch of it left.
Thanks.

Try abit of paint thinner or nail varnish.
I've had alot of success removing gum from cloting by soaking the affected area in lighter fuel (petrol not gas) leave it on until the gum softens then remove with an old cloth or kitchen roll, just dont smoke when doing it !!!

Thank you for your answers. I've been gently scrubbing at the patch that was left, with a scouring sponge, and finally got the mark out, but I'll remember your tips for the future.
Had to laugh at sprayer - I don't smoke, but it'd be something to think about if I did!
WD-40 works too...but test on a bit of the clothing that u dont see first
