How do I switch off Traffic Reports

I have an S reg VW 2L Passat with the factory standard fitted radio. I pressed the TP botton and now I constantly have the programmes I'm listening to interupted by traffic reports that I don't want! This happens every 5-10 minutes and is proving most frustrating! Does anyone out there know what I have to do to switch back to how it was?
