What was invented by using hankies, ribbon and some thread?

Idiot hankies. Many people keep hankies inside their sleeves. so to stop them falling out and getting lost a thread can be made into a loop and attached to each hankerchief. A ribbon can then be threaded up one sleeve of a shirt or coat, then it's passed across the back of the garment and down the other sleeve where it's then attached to the other hankerchief. This idea can also be used for children's, mittens or gloves.
