Just qualified as Plumber, but have a question for somebody 'in the know' - Where would I pick up the feed for the new rad.

So one can run the new pipes straight though the 'original outside wall and into the conservatory.
Conservatories need a huge amount of heat for four-season usage - perhaps five times the energy consumption to get to the same comfort temperature as in inside room - this is because of the extremely thermally leaky nature of the translucent roof. Best not to promise the client to expect winter season temperatures as the rest of the house.
Depending on the orientation of the conservatory (in relation to the sun), supplementary heating of this type provides a great way of adding to the sun's provided heat in the shoulder seasons (spring / autumn).

i wouldn't swear to this but i understand that most conservatories do not need planning permission as they are regarded as a temp. structure but if you plumb in a radiator then you do need planning permission as it is then classed as a permanant struture.
