I am trying to work out how you add the fee on to Paypal automatically i.e. when I request money from a customer I want them to pay the fee.

Cant work out how I do this - anyone got any ideas?

How are you selling? If it is eBay in the UK you categorically can NOT charge the buyer.

Not on ebay - renting a holiday home privately....
It depends what your account type is with PayPal.
If you sell something on eBay, than PayPal charges 3.4% plus 20p for amounts between 0 & 1500.
Log into your PayPal account and look at the bottom of the Home page to click on the FEES link.
Say you expect to get 350/week, then divide it by 0.9666 which will give you 362.10. That would be what you would expect your tenant to pay. It's OK within a penny or so.
Ask PayPal for clarification, as they say that either the seller or buyer can pay the fee. Hope this helps.
