Start by opening a new folder in, say, my videos, This is where the disc files will go. Now put in the disc to be copied and stop it starting automatically.
Now open shrink.
See that Open Disc icon in top left? Click it. It'll open the disc for editing so you can copy it. The disc will scan really quickly - this isn't copying it, it's just checking it's ok and breaking the disc to its component sections.
Now you need to back up the disc - that's the 'back-up' button. A window will open which will allow you to choose the burner to use - assuming you've one drive it'll be the one the disc is already in, if you've two you can choose the 2nd one. This window will also allow you to choose that folder you opened at the start, so you know where the files are in case you want to re-burn.

now when you click OK, the disc contents will download into your pc. If you have 2 drives, the 2nd one chosen and a blank disc in, it'll copy automatically. (Honestly, it's easier than I'm making it sound)
If you have 1 drive, once the disc downloads it'll pop out to allow you put in the blank.
That's for copying a full disc...
If you just want the main movie, choose ReAuthor and just double click the main movie file, and then follow the instructions as above (phew...! with me so far?)
Another nice tool is that the Reauthor allows you choose the start/finish point of the movie, so you can copy scenes and make compilations if you feel the need. (It's the 2 arrows icon)
