security alarm

my electric went of during the night for a time and now i cant get my security alarm to work, it wouldnt switch off,no matter what i did and carried on sounding the alarm and lights flashing for nearly an hour, anyone know what i can do please

I think legally they must stop sounding after 20 minutes maximum.

I should have it serviced. If under warranty, call them out to put it right.

yes it is 20 minutes but it stopped then started again, but the engineer is coming to service it, thx

The battery in the main panel should be changed every 4 years due to being charged 24 hrs a day knackers them, if he charges more than �40 then your being ripped....
