Is there a 'cool' or 'low temp' button pressed in?
It might be the heating element. I have just had this problem with my rear vented tumble dryer. Mine was quite expensive to replace.
I don't know how to explain this.

When you pull the water draw out to empty and push it back in. The bit that connects it back in breaks.

It's happened to mine twice and the engineer said on average it'll happen about once a year at the cost of about 45.
What make is that Ummmm, so that we can all avoid them?
We had a problem with our condenser as well - no heat and indicator light for emptying water constantly coming on

The engineer told us that it is a common problem with condenser's - The hose venting type are much better .

He advised us to ensure that there is plenty of ventilation all around it , when in use
I had the same problem, I removed the outer cover and found broken wires going to the elements at the top of the drum, where they were crimped to the terminals.
easy job to replace the spade connectors.
