if you put some toast in fo 2 minutes then decide half way through that you want it in for 3 minutes so you change the timer to 3. how long will your toast be in for? 2,3 or 4 minutes?

It depends on the make. Brauns have an intelligent microchip and will therefore re-adjust to your will, whereas the �3 Tesco cheapo will stay with your original 3 minute setting. You get what you pay for.
