Faulty Blu Ray player from amazon

Hi I have a Samsung blue ray player and have noticed it has started skipping, even with brand new discs but stops when I switch it off and back on again.
I have had it for 30days so who do I contact - Amazon or Samsung?

Contacting the retailer is always the first step.
It is the retailer's responsibility to rectify matters for faulty goods, not the manufacturer's. The retailer can ask you to contact the manufacturer, but this can be left for the retailer to do.
Was it actually Amazon you got it from? Normally thay are just the agency for the retailer. Your delivery note should give you that information.
If the actual retailer happens to be outside the UK, then it may be difficult to find complete redress; in which case I would contact the local trading standards office.

Cheers for the answers. I made sure I got it from Amazon rather than the market place as I like the service Amazon provide.
I signed on to my account and have till the 3rd of may to send back (30day no quibble return) and I put it as damaged. They are going to send a new one out and I need to send the other back by printing out a prepaid postage label and ringing DHL to arrange collection. I need to return it within 30days.
All this by automated service on their website. Easy 5*
