But imagine that you had a light source, and assume the mirror surface is curved. I think if you were in the exact centre, you would see your head magnified enormously in every direction, but out of focus. This is similar to the image from a concave mirror at the focus, but of course it would be all round.
If you were off-centre, you'd get various other concave-mirror effects, much like looking inside SteveD's bauble. Some of these are interesting, such as 3-D images which appear to be located between you and the mirror.
If I remember correctly how it works, I think you might see yourself in the other half of the sphere, life-size but upside down.

there's a massive one here, well actualy its not really a sphere as the dome is made from straight sided pieces of crystal contructed into the dome shape - but its still vety impressive to stand in the middle of
