you mean technical? i have no idea, in theory yes. it supplies hot water as you want it and heating when you switch it on, no faffing around with buttons etc.

a combination boiler ( combi ) is a boiler system that does not require a hot water storatge cylinder. The boiler provides hot water directly instead of via a hot water storage cylinder which is generally heated by an immersor or ' sidewinder' connected to a conventional boiler circuit. the advantage is that you only pay for hot water used and the disadvantage is that unless you are prepared to spend a large sum on initial boiler cost then you must live with a low hor water flow. this is because unless you have a high output boiler ( higher than 40Kw ) the system must reduce the water flow to a level whereby it can heat the water to an acceptable level.
