passat unlocking

When my friend turns key in door and pauses with key in turned position, windows open to a previous position, have tried resetting this position to a closed one with no luck??

This is a feature on lots of VW cars. It's supposed to be so that you can open all the windows at the same time to cool the car, I'm not sure but I don't think it's possible to reset it. The VW dealer I spoke to made out that it's just part of the specification.

i hope you have solved your problem by now, but this is only guessoligy lock your car door and pause in that position-----no luck?  well the only other thing i can think of is disconnect the battery and return to a o-logic state.goodluck
