the windows.old folder will contain another folder called documents (or documents or settings if it used to be XP)

just copy all your files that you want from that folder to where ever you want them

hi, ChuckFickens, i have managed copy the files from the old folder to the new folder however another issue has appeared!

Every 10-15mins the computer crashes for like 1 minute!
This never happened before! When i restart the computer, a message says 'windows defender couldn't start'.

The only program i have downloaded is McAfee software.
