my dyson dc25 ball cleaner when you shut it of the motor howls until it stops anyone know why . It works normally and only makes the noise when you shut it off

I'd say using a Dyson to clean those is very risky!

Something may have got wrapped around the motor shaft or the bearings may have worn and the sound is not noticeable until the revs die down.
