keep or throw away box?
8 Answers
Does anyone here put away the box of an electrical appliance just in case you have to return it to the store during its guarantee period? I have about 20 boxes folded away at home, for toaster, kettle, water filter container etc...as I'm scared that the shop (usually Argos) will not want to take it back and give me a refund without the box.
Am I right in doing this? Has anyone had a problem replacing their faulty item because it has been returned without the box?

Also, the boxes can be used to send the faulty item back in. They've been designed to hold whatever perfectly, which saves clumsy wrapping up - and hence further damage.
