need help with nokia3110c

have just put a sd card in......it keeps saying MEMORY CARD NOT FORMATTED then It says OPERATION FAILED.....What do i have to do...pls

Read the instructions for the camera � they will tell you how to format the card (using the camera).

Should your memory card become corrupted for any reason, you may have to do this again � but remember that you will loose any pictures stored on the card.

Failing following the camera�s instructions, if you can connect the card to a PC, you can format it using the options from the PC.

Personally, I would recommend to anyone that they have a PC card reader available for their camera memory card; my PC regularly fails to see the connected camera, for some reason.

I have had a similar problem. There are SD cards and SDHC cards. Your camera may not be compatible with the SDHC card as mine wasn't. SDHC is a more recent format which allows very much greater storage capacity.
