disappearing cloth

hey im just wondering how the trick where the magician stuffs a cloth or a tissue or something into their closed fist and then makes it disappear and then reappear again works?!

anyone got any ideas its bugging me sooo much

One way of doing it with something quite small is to have a hollow plastic thumb that fits over your own. Hold this in your fist and make a point of poking the cloth in with *every* finger. When you poke it in with your thumb, leave the plastic thingy over your thumb.

two hands. the plastic false thumb is hidden in the clenched had with the opening facing up...the magician then starts to stuff the hankerchief into his clenched fist (but it is going into the fake thumb that is in the clenched fist) he uses all his fingers and the last one being the thumb on his other hand which he pushes down into the clenched fist and in doing so fits the fake thumb onto this other thumb. thus the hankerchief is stuffed into the fake thumb which is now being worn by the magician. So no hankerchief visible and no one is looking at this thumb.

If youre not paying much attention the magic guy feeds it up his shirt as its been pushed into his hand or it stays in the original hand then dumped into a pocket. From sky ones "magic revealed" special.
