Leather and PVC sofa???
2 Answers
My mother-in-law to be has ordered a sofa set, and in the shop it appeared to be all leather. On the info sheet that she got with it, it states that the covering is "a combination of madras leather and matching PVC", which has caused us some confusion, has anyone any experience of this? is it some arcane blend of the two materials, or are certain bits (i.e. cushion covers, arms, or whatever) likely to be made of pvc whereas smaller bits will be leather? anyone know anything about this first hand? fondest thanks in advance of your individual wisdoms, Trillipse xxx

my guess would be that the parts which experience a good deal of wear (e.g. the cushions and the back) are probably made from leather but (for example) the trim shown beneath the cushions (which needs to look good but not resist wear) would be made from PVC.
