Has anyone out there got a Samsung LE32R7 TV? Apparently I am suposed to press D-menu on the remote, but when I do the words "not available" come up on screen. I've tried everything I can think of but can't solve the puzzle. All my favourite channels have been lost along with the programme guide feature. Help!

Is there a button just marked 'Menu'?
have you got it switched to the digital tuner (ie not Av input or analogue)?
Press the 'Menu' button on your TV Remote. Find 'TV Setup' and access Digital Auto-Tune. Do a Full Re-Scan which will probably take about 5 min. All available Freeview Channels will then be tuned in. When I did a Full Re-Scan on Wednesday from Winter Hill Transmitter the amount of Channels found was 101. All Radio Channels are included in that total along with 'New' Channels such as Quest etc.
Put tv into digital mode, press d-menu and away you go.

Thanks everyone but no luck I'm afraid. The items we are supposed to access are greyed out, yes we are on the right tuner and doing everything we're supposed to do. God, I work with computers all day long and I can't retune a flamin' TV!
I assume you have got the owner's manual.

Are you sure the TV is in Digital mode and not analogue mode?

This should be the page you are looking at:-

Failing that you will have to ring the maker's helpline.
Sorry folks, not having a good day. Didn't see previous answers before jumping in.

Hi there. Rang the helpline and was talked through the stages, that I may add I've tried many, many times, and when we reached the stage when the person on the other end confidently said "right-now you should have restore in front of you" and I said that it was greyed out I got a surprised "oh-I'll talk to an engineer and get back to you" Anyway, seems we have a fault, no surprises there. We are covered by a "whatever happens" warranty and they will be out to see to the problem on Wednesday. So glad it's not me, I was beginning to feel stupid.

Engineer called and said there is a major problem, TV has be taken away and could take up to 14 days to put right-if they can, otherwise we will get vouchers for replacement. It was fine before last Wednesday!!
